“New Jersey's self-exclusion program has helped many individuals take an important step toward addressing problematic gambling,” said Sen. Polistina. “This bill would make the process more effective by allowing people to extend those protections beyond our state's borders and access a broader network of support.”

Happy to see the Senate State Government, Wagering, Tourism and Historic Preservation Committee advance this piece of legislation today.

Bipartisan legislation sponsored by Senator Vince Polistina (R-Atlantic) that would expand tools available to individuals seeking to voluntarily exclude themselves from gambling activities advanced in

Over the past several weeks, our office has been inundated with calls and emails from residents who fear they may lose their homes because of staggering increases in homeowners’ association fees.

We've heard from working families, single parents, and retirees who are already struggling with the rising cost of living. For many of these residents, these increases are simply unsustainable.

Senator Vince Polistina and Assemblyman Don Guardian (Both R-Atlantic) announced they are introducing legislation to modify New Jersey’s capital reserve funding requirement for associations of p

Thank you to the Health Care Association of New Jersey and the incredible administrative team at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Linwood for the opportunity to tour their facility. It was great to see firsthand the dedication, compassion, and professionalism that go into caring for residents each day.

Our healthcare professionals and caregivers play a vital role in supporting some of our most vulnerable residents, and facilities like this are an important part of our community's healthcare network. I appreciate the warm welcome and the important work being done to provide quality care for South Jersey families right here in Atlantic County.

Please join me in keeping the two Atlantic City Police officers wounded in the line of duty today in your thoughts and prayers.

Our law enforcement officers put themselves in harm’s way to protect our communities.

We are grateful for their courage, dedication, and service.

It's an annual tradition, and always truly an honor, to join the Egg Harbor Township community for its Memorial Day Parade and to remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation.

South Jersey is home to so many veterans and military families who understand the true meaning of sacrifice. Today, a record number of residents and families joined together to honor those who never came home and the loved ones who carry their memory forward.

May we never forget their courage, their service, and the freedoms they secured for all of us.

This Memorial Day, we remember and honor the brave Americans who gave their lives in service to our country.

Here in Atlantic County, and throughout South Jersey, we are proud of the men and women who have worn our nation's uniform and today, we pay special tribute to those who never made it home.

As we gather with family and friends, let us take a moment to reflect on their sacrifice and express our gratitude to the families who continue to carry their legacy forward.

May we never forget our fallen heroes.

Military families move much more frequently than civilian families, often disrupting the educational pursuits of their spouses and children.

This bill recognizes that reality and ensures that spouses and dependents of active military service members do not lose access to critical financial aid opportunities when service members are transferred out of state.

The Senate Military and Veterans’ Affairs Committee approved bipartisan legislation sponsored by Senator Vince Polistina (R-Atlantic) extending in-State tuition rates to spouses of military personnel residing in New Jersey.

It was another exciting step forward for development and investment in Atlantic City this morning as I joined City, County, and State officials for the ribbon cutting of the new Residences at Orange Loop.

This transformative project is another example of the continued momentum and revitalization taking place in Atlantic City, bringing new energy, opportunity, and housing to the community while further strengthening the Orange Loop district as a destination for residents and visitors alike.

Congratulations to Brian Zoubek and everyone involved in bringing this vision to life. Your hard work, investment, and commitment to Atlantic City are helping shape a stronger future for our region.

Congratulations to Ms. D’Andra Miller on taking her seat on the Pleasantville Board of Education. Ms. Miller was recently appointed to fill a vacant seat on the Board, and last night, I had the honor of swearing her in.

I want to congratulate her again and wish her continued success as she proudly serves the students, families, and community of Pleasantville as a member of the Board of Education.

Last night, I attended the Linwood City Council meeting to join in recognizing local resident Jacob Silvern upon earning the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America.

The rank of Eagle Scout is the highest honor attainable in Scouting and represents years of dedication, leadership, service, and personal growth. It was truly an honor to meet such an impressive young man and congratulate both Jacob and his family on this incredible accomplishment.

As part of the Eagle Scout process, each new Eagle Scout has the opportunity to present the Eagle Scout Mentor Pin to a non-parent adult who played an instrumental role in their Scouting journey — often a Scoutmaster, teacher, coach, or community leader. Following his recognition last night, Jacob presented his Mentor Pin to MRHS Lacrosse Coach Luc Swedland for the important role he played in Jacob’s success.

Congratulations again to Jacob and his family on this well-earned achievement, and thank you to Coach Swedland for setting such a fine example for our youth.
