Today, we pause to remember September 11, 2001.

We honor the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the brave first responders and everyday heroes who showed extraordinary courage in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

On this day, we also remember the strength that can be found in coming together — in supporting one another, caring for our neighbors, and choosing compassion even in difficult times.

Is your child meeting important developmental milestones? Developmental screenings are a great way to learn more about your child's growth and identify any areas where additional support may be helpful.

If you have a child between the ages of 2 and 5, we encourage you to take advantage of this valuable opportunity. Early identification and intervention can make a significant difference in a child's success and well-being.

At Crisis Nursery of Effingham County, we understand that childcare can sometimes be a barrier to attending important appointments. We're happy to help! If you need care for younger siblings or school-age children while attending your child's developmental screening, our team may be able to provide support so you can focus on your appointment.

Today, we celebrate and honor the hard work, dedication, and contributions of the incredible individuals who keep our communities strong.

We are especially grateful for the parents, caregivers, first responders, healthcare workers, educators, childcare providers, and so many others who work tirelessly every day—often while balancing the needs of their families.

Today, we hope you take a moment to rest, recharge, and recognize all that you do. Thank you for everything you contribute to our community and the families we serve.
