❄️ Wonderland in Lights: a Visit Effingham Experience will be open from 5 to 10 PM tonight. Santa will be visiting the lights to greet cars and hand out candy canes and small toys to children who visit. 🎅🏼

*Santa’s arrival may be a little delayed due to the weather, so for optimal visiting time, we recommend seeing the lights from 5:30 to 9:30 PM tonight. 😉🙌🏼✨

🎄✨ Light up the Lawn is BACK, but this year... it looks a little different! ✨🎄

Due to construction on the Courthouse Square, our holiday lights have scattered across The City of Effingham! 🎅🏼🎁 Can YOU find all 10 displays? 🤔

Here's how to join the fun: 1️⃣ Look for the "Christmas Under Construction" yard signs near each display. 2️⃣ Scan the QR code on the sign to download your scavenger hunt map. 3️⃣ Once you’ve found all 10 displays, submit your completed form to [email protected] or share it on our social media channels! 🎉

🌟 Everyone who completes the hunt will be entered for a chance to WIN a prize from Visit Effingham! 🌟

See our light displays like you’ve never seen them before - up close and personal! 🤩 Enjoy the lights, live music, food and refreshments, visits with Santa and more. 🎅🏼 This event is free to the public and created for all ages to participate. POV: it’s Thanksgiving night and you could not eat ONE more bite of pumpkin pie. 🥧 You’ve changed into something cozy and are getting ready to lounge around for the rest of the night when someone suggests taking a drive through Wonderland in Lights: A Visit Effingham Experience 🎄

You bundle up, pack into the car, pick up hot cocoa on the way and sing along to Christmas carols as you drive… 🎶 Everyone tries to spot what’s changed in this year’s display and the memory of last year’s drive (and all the drives before that one) replay in your mind. This moment is pure magic and you can’t wait to do it all over again tomorrow night… ✨

The lights officially open Thanksgiving night, at 5pm. We can’t wait to see you there! 🥰
