Florence County Animal Services 🐾 Adopt, Don’t Shop! 🐾
We’re offering fee-waived adoptions for all pets that are already spayed or neutered!

For pets that are not yet spayed or neutered, the adoption fee is just $40.00. Join us in making a difference stay connected for all updates! We are Florence County Environmental Services and we provide the Animal, Litter and Vector (mosquito) Control for all of the 804 square miles of Florence County, SC (minus the city limits of Florence)

We employ ten dedicated employees and strive to provid

e excellent service to the citizens of Florence County. We have one officer dedicated to the animal cruelty investigations within Florence County. We have four full time officers dedicated to removing unwanted or problem animals at the request of the citizens of Florence County. These officers also assist the Sheriff's Dept and Highway Patrol in the pickup of animals of arrested individuals and the traveling pets of those involved in auto accidents; and also assists DHEC in the transport and quarantining of bite animals. We have an approximate intake of 90-100 animals each week. This intake number is usually much higher in the spring and summer and much lower in the winter.
