Rotary Club of Edwardsville The main objective of Rotary is service - in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world.

The Rotary Club of Edwardsville is an organization of business and professional leaders who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. Rotarians develop community service projects that address many of today's most critical issues, such as children at risk, poverty and hunger, the environment, illiteracy, and vio

lence. They also support programs for youth, educational opportunities and international exchanges for students, teachers, and other professionals, and vocational and career development. The Rotary Club of Edwardsville meets Thursdays at 12pm at the First Christian Church in Edwardsville. Club events and initiatives include the Edwardsville Rotary Criterium, Citrus Sales and the lemonade stand at the Route 66 festival. Rotary clubs provide:

Mr. Robert Edington has been chosen as our February Edwardsville Rotary student of the month. The Health Education Department nominated Robert for this honor. Madeline's impressive commitment to promoting STEM through robotics is evident in the over 500 hours she has donated to local youth. Her passion for robotics is also driving her academic and professional aspirations, as she plans to study chemical engineering in college and pursue a career in the pharmaceutical field.
