se of freedom in America. Each year Congress makes hundreds of decisions on issues that directly affect the lives of enlisted people and their families. Important issues such as medical care, job security, salaries, commissary privileges and other benefits. There was a time when the voice of the enlisted Airman was nowhere to be heard ... until the Spring of l96l, when a handful of men came together to form the Air Force Sergeants Association. AFSA is an international organization dedicated to speaking out on behalf of enlisted Air Force personnel and today, with nearly 135,000 AFSA members, the voice of the enlisted rings strong on Capitol Hill. We defend the rights of those who defend our nation.

The Air Force Sergeants Association, Chapter 1328 is hosting this year's POW/MIA Remembrance Ceremony on behalf of the 412th Test Wing.

We would love to have your presence at this year's event! Vietnam War veteran, Mr. Paul Granger will be telling his remarkable story of resiliency and survival. He was a B-52 pilot, forced to eject over North Vietnam and was taken as a Prisoner of War on December 20, 1972. After spending 100 days in captivity, Capt Granger was released during Operation Homecoming on March 29, 1973.

This is an event that not only you, but your Total Force Airmen would immensely benefit from hearing. What better way to instill, spark, and reaffirm our pride in our nation's military service than to hear from a fellow brother of arms who sacrificed so much for our country.

“What veterans have given our country is beyond our power to fully repay, yet, today we recognize our debt to their honor.” —George W. Bush

“They [veterans] don’t always go around telling stories of their heroism, so it’s up to us to ask and to listen, to tell those stories for them and to live in our own lives the values for which they were prepared to give theirs.” —Barack Obama

AFSA VETERANS APPRECIATION DAY!!!
AFSA Chapter 1328 appreciates everyone that came out to show these veterans the appreciation they deserve.
And to all the AFSA members that helped putting it together and setting up.

These veterans were treated with a mini breakfast sponsored by Starbucks and Costco.
Than were given a base tour, where they got to see what everyone here at Edwards AFB does on a daily basis. Showing why we are the epicenter of TEST.
Then they were treated to an amazing lunch sponsered by Olive Garden.

Hearing the stories they had to tell of their time in was worth it. They were part of the framework of why we get to enjoy our Freedoms today.
SO TO ALL VETERANS PAST AND PRESENT...
