We are hiring!

This is a full-time on-site role for a Student Services Assistant located in Everett, WA. Under the direction of the Sr. Student Services Manager, the Student Services Associate performs specialized clerical and technical duties to register students and maintain student records. The Student Services Associate serves as the initial point of contact for students and potential students at the Maritime Institute; therefore, a professional and positive company image must always be maintained.

The Student Services Assistant will handle administrative tasks, including managing student records and scheduling classes. Responsibilities also include providing exceptional customer service and support to students, assisting with communication and information dissemination, and helping to maintain the daily operations of the student services department.

Got the awesome opportunity to speak for some of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Snohomish County. I spoke as part of the “Inspire Her” program about maritime!

I am grateful for the opportunity to talk to kids of all ages about the benefits of maritime and about what I have accomplished in my career including USCG approved training at Compass Courses by Maritime Institute!

The best part is that the youth got to ask questions… they asked about sharks, whales, how a ship does not turn over, how long I had been at sea and more!!!
