UPDATE: The lower restrooms are now OPEN! Thank you to the crews for taking care of business! 🙂

Unfortunately, the lower restrooms at City Park are unexpectedly closed currently while crews work to resolve the issue.
Please use the restrooms located in the upper area of the park near the ballfield and gazebo during this time.

Things that are OK to flush:
✅ Toilet paper
✅ What the toilet was designed for
✅ Your worries after a long day 😌

Things that are NOT OK to flush:
❌ “Flushable” wipes (they actually don't flush 😅)
❌ Paper towels
❌ Grease
❌ Cotton balls/swabs
❌ Toys, socks, or mystery items from tiny humans 👀

Remember: toilets are not tiny trash cans. Help keep pipes flowing and avoid scary plumbing adventures for everyone! 🚿💧

The Edmonds Cemetery and Columbarium Board cordially invites the community to attend the 2026 Annual Memorial Day Observance on Monday, May 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Edmonds Memorial Cemetery.

This longstanding Edmonds tradition honors the service and sacrifice of our veterans and brings together residents, families, and visitors for one of the community’s most meaningful annual gatherings.

The observance will feature remarks from Edmonds Mayor Mike Rosen, along with special presentations from:

• Sonja Bateman, who lived as a child in Nazi-occupied Denmark during WWII
• James Keefe, author of Two Gold Coins and a Prayer, sharing the story of his father being shot down over the Nazi-occupied Netherlands during WWII

📍 Edmonds Memorial Cemetery
Intersection of 100th Ave. W & 15th St. SW
(One block north of Westgate QFC)

⏰ Program begins at 11:00 a.m. and lasts approximately one hour
☔ Held rain or shine

The Edmonds Memorial Cemetery, listed on the Washington State Register of Historic Places, is the resting place of 625 veterans. In honor of Memorial Day, every veteran’s grave will be marked with a United States flag.

Parking is available along 100th Ave. W and 15th Ave. Limited seating will be provided, and guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs. Parking inside the cemetery is reserved for ADA permit holders only.

Join us as we reflect, remember, and pay tribute to the men and women who served our nation.

🐝 Buzzing Into the Park! 🌼

Our parks are more than places to play — they’re important habitats for bees and pollinators that keep nature healthy and beautiful.

Next time you visit the park:
🌻 Look for blooming flowers
🦋 Watch for butterflies and bees at work
📸 Snap a photo of your favorite pollinator sighting

Small creatures make a BIG difference!
