Yesterday, our Student Ambassadors took their leadership learning to Edmond City Hall!

Our ambassadors had the opportunity to learn more about how local government works, including the process of public meetings, discussion, and decision-making. They then participated in a mock city council meeting, following an agenda and engaging in conversations about topics impacting the Edmond community.

A special thank you to Mayor Mark Nash for joining us and sharing your time and insight with our students, and to the City of Edmond, Government for welcoming our Student Ambassadors to City Hall. Opportunities like this help our students better understand their community and see how leadership and civic engagement can make a difference right here in Edmond.

We are grateful for partners who invest in developing the next generation of community leaders.
