Edison Emergency Medical Services Edison NJ's Volunteer First Aid Squad We are a licensed BLS Emergency Medical Service based in Edison, NJ.

We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that has been serving Edison Township and the surrounding areas since 1935. We provide free, quality 9-1-1 emergency medical services to residents of Edison and the surrounding areas. Our volunteers work hard to instill and uphold our organization's core values of Honor, Compassion, and Respect.

Touch-a-Truck at The Learning Experience!

Edison EMS visited The Learning Experience Academy of Early Education for their Touch-a-Truck event alongside Edison Township Police Department and Edison Division of Fire!

The children had the opportunity to get an up-close look at our ambulance and learn more about the first responders who serve their community.

Edison EMS extends its gratitude to the Chadalavada Civic & Community Association for a generous donation which will be used to purchase two brand-new trainer AEDs.

These training AEDs will replace the current units, which are nearly 20 years old and no longer reflect the modern equipment we carry on our ambulances. The new devices will help strengthen the training of our volunteer EMTs and will also be used to educate members of the public who wish to learn how to use this life-saving equipment. Edison EMS is working to extend our training resources to the public, especially on life saving measures such as CPR.

Edison EMS is kicking off EMS week strong!!!

We supported the Edison/Metuchen Bike Tour event on Sunday. Edison EMS had one ambulance on standby and a full bike team ready with medical supplies for all 17.76 miles!!!
