UPDATE 4:00 PM FRIDAY 5/22/2026 - THE BOIL WATER ADVISORY HAS BEEN LIFTED

UPDATE 1:40pm Thursday 5/21 — customers whose water was shut off are under a boil water advisory until Friday afternoon.

💦⚠️Water is shut off for residents and businesses on Clark Street going west on Eisenhower, half of Piatt's, and a few customers on SR-252.
Edinburgh Water Dept is working to get it turned back on as soon as possible this morning.

Reminder that water mains are being flushed this week!

The Edinburgh Municipal Utilities will be flushing water mains beginning May 10th at 7:30am and continue through May 19th. Customers may experience some discoloration in their water during this operation. If this occurs at your residence or business, we suggest that you run a slow stream of cold water until the discoloration disappears. Usually, five to ten minutes will take care of the problem.

If the discoloration persists, please contact the Utility Office at 526-3514 option 5. We strongly suggest that white clothing not be washed during the daytime hours to help reduce the risk of staining. Some other light colors could also be affected.

To be safe these colors should be washed after the hour of 7:00 PM until after the flushing program is completed.

What a fun and creative evening with Creative Table! Folks from around the county joined us to paint and assemble one-of-a-kind wreaths. We love how unique they all turned out!

This morning we welcomed the East Side Elementary kindergarten classes! They are taking a tour of downtown and stopped in to hear about the community center and that they are always welcome here. They are learning about different kids of art and got their picture in front of our murals. Our lil Lancers are a big part of the community!
