E.U.P. L.G.B.T.Q.I.A. Resource Center Our primary target audiences will be students, employees (faculty, staff, and administrators), alumni, and the Edinboro community.

The mission of the LGBTQIA Resource Center will be to provide resources, advocacy and expertise regarding issues of sexual orientation and gender identity to individuals and the greater EUP community. The Center will seek to address historical, current and foreseeable issues through education, outreach and activism particularly to underrepresented sexual and gender minorities. In sum, the Center w

ill foster healthy ideas of sexuality, sexual orientation, and gender identity on the EUP campus. We also invite all to join Identity. Identity is Edinboro University's LGBTQIA group. LGBTQIA stands for lesbian, gay, genderqueer, bisexual, transgender, transsexual, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual, and ally. We welcome anyone in the area to join our group. Today we lost a great man. Dr. Philip Ginnetti passed away this morning of cardiac arrest. He was a wonderful and supportive person that Identity is very thankful for. No one will fill his shoes and we send our best wishes to his partner, and the rest of his loved ones. Rest in peace Dr. Ginnetti. Provost of Edinboro University. Friend to us all.

Hey all of you amazing people. Would you happen to know if there are any high school GSA's in Erie County? The President's Commission on the Status of LGBTQIA People is looking to start a GLSEN chapter for Erie County and we need to reach out to them if it is possible. If you have any information that you would feel is relevant (contact information for GSA advisor, current GSA President, teachers at schools in the area that are interested in LGBTQIA issues, current HS students in the area that are LGBTQIA etc... please message the page.

HEY EVERYONE! On Wednesday, May 2nd from 10AM-11AM we will be having the ribbon cutting ceremony of the new EUP LGBTQIA Resource Center. The center is located on the first floor of Centennial Hall in rooms 111-113 (The old Women's Center). There will be refreshments, and music. Please come join us!
