The Edinboro Police Department’s 4th Annual Shop with a Cop was a complete success! It truly seemed as though the volunteers were just as excited—if not more so—than the kids. Everyone had an amazing time.

A huge shout-out and thank you to Walmart, PennWest University and its Police Department, District Judge Stuck-Lewis’s office, Kari Eaglen Photography, and the officers’ spouses and significant others for helping make this event so special.

🎉 A Heartfelt Thank You, Edinboro! 🎉

The first annual “Stuff the Cruiser” event, organized by Edinboro Police Department Detective Kyle Henderson was a huge success! Our community continues to amaze us! Thanks to the incredible generosity of Edinboro residents, we collected over 1,600 pounds of food and $1,800 in monetary donations for Second Harvest Food Bank. Your kindness will make a real difference for families in need.

A special thank you to Walmart for their generous donations and for allowing us to use their store as our collection site — your support helped make this event possible.

We’re also grateful to Tim Hortons for keeping our volunteers fueled with warm coffee and delicious snacks throughout the day.

In addition, all non-food items donated were delivered to Boro Women’s Services, where they will directly support women and families in our community.

Thank you, Edinboro, for showing once again what community is all about.

Parents and Guardians of minors, as the school year is coming to an end, this is a good time to speak to young people in your world about underage drinking. Remember that providing alcohol to minors, even in your own home, is a crime. Please visit https://knowwhenknowhow.org/ for some useful information.

We hope that everyone has a safe and fun summer!!

This program is funded by a grant from the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board; the content of this ad may not represent the views of the PLCB.

The best way to prevent underage drinking is to start talking with your child about it, early and often.
