HYDRANT FLUSHING NOTICE

The City of Edina will be flushing fire hydrants throughout town this week to help flush the water distribution system and reduce temporary chlorine taste and odor from the Clarence Cannon water supply.

During hydrant flushing, residents may notice temporary discoloration or stirred-up sediment in the water, and/or a stronger or different chlorine taste or smell.

THE WATER REMAINS SAFE TO DRINK!

These temporary changes are a normal result of hydrant flushing and should clear up as the system is flushed.

If you notice discolored water, allow your cold water tap to run for a few minutes until the water runs clear.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to maintain the City’s water system.

DELINQUENT WHEEL TAX NOTICE

Wheel tax stickers are overdue. If you have already purchased yours or for some reason would not need a sticker, please let us know! Call (660) 397-3251.

Fees for wheel tax stickers are:
cars - $10.00
pick-up trucks - $8.50
motorcycles - $7.50
(Personal property taxes must be current.)

Stop by City Hall and purchase your wheel tax stickers; mail a check or use our drop box on the west side of City Hall and we will mail the stickers to you.

Hello people of Knox county!
❗️Community awareness post. PLEASE SHARE with FAMILY, FRIENDS, NEIGHBOURS!❗️

I am Povilas “The Bookman” and I am a college student from Europe, Lithuania.

This summer I get to help families with in-home educational resources, get kids excited about reading, and help kids save a ton of time with homework and studying. We partner with companies such as National Geographic, Princeton Review, McGraw Hill and cover ABCs to ACTs!

I am super excited to serve families this summer in Edina and Knox county! I am NOT associated with any school district, I work with Southwestern Advantage going on my 5th summer.
