This Hunger Action Month, we’re proud to share the mission that guides everything we do. HCAA is dedicated to helping Harford County individuals and families facing financial hardship meet their housing, food, energy, heating, budgeting, and family counseling needs.

More than providing immediate assistance, we’re here to support, encourage, and walk alongside our neighbors on their journey toward stability and self-sufficiency. Because when our community comes together, every family has a stronger path forward. 🧡

Our pantry is building its starting lineup, and we need your help filling every position:
🥫 Offense: Protein-packed foods like canned chicken, tuna, and beans
🥣 Defense: Pantry staples like soup, pasta, rice, and canned vegetables
🍿 Special Teams: Easy snacks like granola bars, crackers, and cereal

A huge thank you to Coldwell Banker for donating nearly 400 pounds of food! Donations like this play an important role in helping us keep our shelves stocked and ensuring we can continue serving individuals and families throughout our community.

✨ In honor of Hunger Action Month, we wanted to share a little behind-the-scenes magic! 🚜

This is Third Way Farms, one of the absolutely awesome local farms we partner with to stock our pantry shelves. We believe that everyone deserves access to vibrant, nutrient-rich food. Fresh produce is so important because it doesn't just fill bellies, it fuels healthy bodies, brings comfort, and puts the biggest smiles on our families' faces!

We are so incredibly grateful for the fresh, homegrown goodness they share with our community. 🫑🧅🍐🍅🍓
