📅💜💛 MARK THOSE CALENDARS! HOMECOMING 2026 will be here before we know it! 🐾🏈

There’s a LOT happening during Homecoming Week, so start making those plans now! A few things you’ll want to know:

🍽️ The Edgewood Alumni Association is shaking things up this year! Their annual Homecoming Dinner is moving to Monday night instead of Friday in hopes that even more people can join in the fun. And remember, this dinner is NOT just for alumni! It’s for our entire community to come together, visit, eat, and celebrate all things Edgewood. 💜💛

🔥 Due to the extreme conditions and current burn ban, Wednesday night’s annual Tailgates & Touchdowns Bonfire and Fireworks will be moved to later in the football season when conditions allow. We’ll share those details once plans are finalized!

🏐 Thursday night, WEAR PURPLE & GET IN FOR $1! Come pack the gym and support our Lady Bulldogs as they keep trucking through district play! 💜

🏈 Homecoming Court and the BIG GAME will all start up around 6:40 PM at IT James Memorial Stadium (Kickoff is 7:30 PM).

🪩 The Athletic Booster Club is once again wrapping up the week with the High School Homecoming Dance on Saturday night! Date forms are required, so students, make sure you find out what you need and meet those deadlines.

Homecoming is just a little different in Texas, and we LOVE celebrating it right here in Edgewood! 🤠🏈💜 From dress-up days and athletic events to the parade, Friday night lights, and the dance, don’t miss a minute of Homecoming 2026!

We are SO excited to invite our PK-5 grandparents into our facilities for our FIRST-EVER Grandparents Day Lunch!

Invitations and RSVP forms are coming home with our PK-5 students TODAY, so be sure to check those backpacks! 🎒

‼️ RSVP forms MUST be returned by Tuesday, September 8 so we can plan accordingly and make sure no one misses out on lunch!

We’re excited to welcome our Challenger students and families to our Annual Meeting tonight at 5 pm in the PK-8 Cafetorium! This is an important opportunity to connect, learn, and get ready for an amazing year ahead.💜

📱💜💛 ROOMS COMMUNICATION UPDATE

We’re still working through a few issues with our new Rooms platform, and we appreciate your patience while we get everything ironed out! If you’ve already sent us an email about an issue, we’ll be working through those today. We’ve been tackling some data issues first to see if those corrections resolve some of the problems families are experiencing.

In the meantime, you won’t miss out on important information! 📣 We will continue blasting district and campus communication through our calendars and social media, and we’ll keep doing that even after the Rooms issues are resolved.
