🍪 4th of July Cookie Decorating for Beginners

Learn to decorate festive holiday cookies in this hands-on beginner class! Whether you’re completely new to cookie decorating or just looking for a fun activity, this class is a great way to celebrate the holiday.

Participants will decorate 5 patriotic cookies and learn:
• Royal icing basics
• Piping and flooding methods
• Wet-on-wet decorating
• Helpful decorating tips for clean, polished cookies

Gluten-friendly and dairy-free options are available for an extra charge.

Taught by local baker Larry from Cookies By Dad, who has been creating decorated sugar cookies since 2020.

Thank you to everyone who joined us on the Greenspace Lawn last night for our showing of Zootopia 2! The weather was perfect, and we loved seeing so many families enjoying the evening together.

A special thank-you to Animal Wonders for bringing some amazing live animals for everyone to meet before the movie!

Our next movie vote begins Monday on our page, and the winning movie will be shown on June 26.

Last night, these talented artists put the finishing touches on their beautiful mosaic masterpieces!

This two-day class began with participants carefully designing and arranging pieces of colorful glass before adhering them to terracotta saucers. On the second evening, everyone completed their projects by grouting their creations.

Not only are these mosaics stunning works of art, but they will also provide birds, butterflies, and bees with a welcoming place to bathe and drink. We loved seeing each participant’s unique creativity shine through; no two pieces were alike!

A special thank you to Kathy for generously providing all of the glass used in these projects. Proceeds from this creative class also helped support the Edgerton Food Pantry.
