IMPORTANT Community Birthday Calendar Notice!

After proudly publishing 61 annual Community Birthday Calendar issues, Music Boosters has made the difficult decision to discontinue this service. The deadline to place orders for the final Community Birthday Calendar is June 13, 2026.

This will be the last( 62nd ) issue of the Community Birthday Calendar published by the Edgerton Music Boosters.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the businesses, organizations, advertisers, volunteers, and community members who have supported the calendar over the years. Your participation has helped make the calendar a valued tradition and community resource for more than six decades.

If you know of an organization that would be interested in continuing this service, please let us know. Music Boosters will be happy to help with the transition and assist in getting the program established. Contact Jessica Cheek

Thank you for your support throughout the years and for helping make the Community Birthday Calendar a success!

Some of you may know me and some may not. For 2 years I was booster treasurer and president/social media for 5 years. In 2021 I stepped down as president and have just been doing social media. All 3 of my daughters have been very active in band. My middle daughter, Heather, even decided to make it her career. With my youngest daughter graduating yesterday, this will be my last post.

Graduation brought up a lot of memories. When my youngest started school, I subbed for 2 years. Yesterday wasn’t just about watching Sarah go through that line, but remembering all the field trips, concession stands, parades, helping the littles through aiding, library and everything else. All I could see as all of those kids went through the line was the littles I helped with when they were just starting their journey. Now all 3 of my girls are graduated and on to their adult journeys. Even though it has had its ups and downs, all I can think of now that it is over is all the good times and watching the kids from all my girls’ classes grow into the great adults they’re becoming.

Here’s my plug…🎶😉
If you have a child that is just starting their band/choir journey, seriously consider being part of the boosters. Yes it is necessary and essential for the music program, but more than that, it will give you and your children memories that last a lifetime. In the end you will forget the frustrating parts and only remember being part of the littles journey. Just so they know, no matter how old they get, in my eyes they will always be littles and I’m proud of all of them.

Congratulations 2026 seniors. I know you will go far. 👩‍🎓🎶👨‍🎓🎶
