Please be aware that a flyer and online post promoting “Free athletic shoes from VA” is fraudulent and is not affiliated with the Department of Veterans Affairs. Although the flyer lists the MyVA 1-800 number, the flyer is not authorized by VA.

Please take the following precautions:
• Do not share, forward, or repost the flyer.
• Do not provide any personal, financial, or health information in response to the promotion.
• Remind Veterans, family members, caregivers, and colleagues to verify questionable messages through trusted VA channels.

If you or a Veteran you know have shared personal information in response to this fake promotion, please contact VSAFE at vsafe.gov or by calling 833-38V-SAFE for assistance.

Post 30 installed its 2026-2027 officers at tonight's meeting. We were honored to have South Carolina 2nd Vice Commander Jerome Childs conduct the installation ceremony.

We were also pleased to welcome our friends from Saluda Post 65, Commander Jim Moore and First Vice Commander Robert Mack. Post 30 falls within District 17, and their visit reflects our district’s tradition of strengthening relationships among veterans, learning from one another, and exchanging ideas.

Edgefield County veterans have been selected as the Grand Marshal of the 53rd Annual Ridge Peach Festival parade.
