What a great day with our visiting students! Thank you for volunteering your time! Even more special, one of the teacher chaperones was a student volunteer here just six years ago. A true full-circle moment 💙🌿

Great Egrets sparked a conservation movement. Valued for their stunning white plums that at one time adorned women's hats, Great Egrets were almost hunted to extinction. Thanks to the efforts of Mass Audubon's founders Harriet Hemenway and Minna Hall and others, Massachusetts passed laws protecting birds and started a movement across the country to do the same.

Be the voice for the voiceless. Call your MA state representative by May 19 to request they ask Chair Aaron Michlewitz and the House Ways & Means Committee to strengthen Sections 74 and 75 of the Mass Ready Act by including the language from H5217, which would phase out the use of anticoagulant rodenticides statewide.

We want each of the 160 state representatives to receive at least 10 phone calls from their constituents. Together we have power.

Let’s use it to advocate for a ban on anticoagulant rodent poisons across Massachusetts!

🐦 Birdapalooza is here!
Celebrate spring migration May 15–17 with a weekend full of birds, nature, and outdoor fun at Felix Neck. Spot warblers, swallows, and more as we work together to reach our goal of 200 species! 🐦✨

On Saturday, stop by the front desk (9 am–4 pm) to grab a Mass Audubon BINGO card or birding checklist and turn your visit into a nature-spotting adventure. All weekend long, check out the trailside bird viewing station near the osprey pole or tune into our Owl and Osprey cams for a peek at our resident raptors.
