We're SO EXCITED to be on the list of unveilings for a new mural by Mural Mosaic!

This upcoming mural is going to have a prominent spot on THE BOULEVARD 😍 The installation of the USA Forest Fauna National Mural Mosaic will be in Eden on Wednesday, October 28.

Economic Development Specialist Ken White is overseeing the project. “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to have this national mural as a permanent work of art in the Eden community," he said. "We hope to inspire artists to continue to paint in a way that brings them joy, to celebrate connection and encourage everyone to share with one another.

He noted The Boulevard is the perfect spot for the art. "Just six months ago, this space was nothing more than forgotten concrete and overgrown weeds. Today, it is becoming a place for people to gather, and this mural will help tell that story of transformation. What makes the Mural Mosaic project especially meaningful is that it is truly bigger than Eden. It will include pieces created by people from our own community alongside pieces from people we may never meet, all coming together to create one work of art."

Artists of all skill levels throughout the USA and many parts of the world have come together to produce hundreds of paintings in this remarkable national mural. Each artist has contributed a unique tile to the mural, representing their reflections of how we are all connected. With its vibrant colors and each painting’s style and expression, this mosaic serves as a reminder of the power of collaboration.

Since 2003, Mural Mosaic has been creating art that celebrates unity and diversity through awe inspiring mosaic productions. Using the Mural Mosaic process invented by artist Lewis Lavoie, the mission of our work is to bring people together in a way that honors everyone’s unique perspectives and experiences. We have produced Mural Mosaics throughout North America and with their Global Roots project, the World - inspiring viewers to recognize the beauty of our differences and come together in united work of art.

Ken - and we - agree. "At a time when it can be easy to focus on the things that separate us, projects like this remind us how much can be created when we find ways to connect. I can’t think of a better message - or a better piece of art - for Eden’s new public space.”

Stay tuned for more information as we get this project closer to completion 🎉
