Most of my clients/families have opted for online instruction for Fall, or they have decided to defer admissions for 1 semester or 1 year. For some families, especially those students who received tuition scholarships, they are getting the best option of having the student stay home for the term or the year, and saving cash or debt from not paying room and board expenses.

COVID-19 is presenting lots of critical decisions parents and students must make. Many campuses who went ahead with a plan to be "on campus" and "in-person", as well as provide housing options are now retreating, backtracking, and reframing what the Fall term will be like. Please, check daily on changes.

At the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where 91 students tested positive on Wednesday, school officials canceled classes Monday and Tuesday to give students time to move off campus.
