Tough loss tonight but I’ve gained so much from this experience. I’m honored to have been a part of Lyon County’s history in the first Republican Primary. I’m so proud of the campaign I ran & know that my vision for Lyon County doesn’t have to end with this loss. I will continue to invest, support, advocate, & build up our county.

One last quick fact for you. With approximately 2800 registered republicans in Lyon County & an estimated 20% (or less) expected turnout, the race for the future of our county comes down to just 281 votes.

Today at 4:00 PM, Early Voting will conclude at the Lyon County Court House. Polls reopen Election Day, Tuesday May, 17th, at 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM at your respective precinct.

One of the most asked questions I receive is "Jenni, why do you want to be Lyon County's next Judge Executive?" 👇🏼

As a mother, friend, & neighbor, I know that your children & mine are priority. Their success & having something to look forward is one of my most motivating reasons for running for office.

I want to leave this community better then I found it. I know that I can do that. Our community only succeeds if we do it together. I promise to work together with fellow government offices, community groups, & citizens to make our hometown worthy of passing on. One of the greatest accomplishments of my life will forever be my marriage. A bond & foundation that remains my constant in times of trouble & respite in the craziness of life. Over a decade of loving & being loved by this man & ten years married is a treasure of mine. Today we celebrate our anniversary & I share it with you because I believe the values we are committed to in our home spill over into other aspects of our lives.

Throughout my campaign, I have sought to educate myself on a local level by meeting with our current elected officials, attend board meetings, & investigate potential opportunities for our county. On a state level, I have closely followed our legislative session, as well as, met with some of our lawmakers.
I have also sought to educate & include YOU. In my opinion, the next Judge Executive of Lyon County must be an approachable, transparent, well-rounded leader who can not only represent and market our county outside of our borders, but also keep the public informed & involved in community issues and opportunities.
This has been the goal of my campaign & I will continue to serve in this way when elected your next Lyon County Judge Executive.

As the daughter of a former Lyon County educator, I can attest to the hard work & dedication our local teachers invest into our students - and not just from 8-3 but all the extra hours they put in preparing, learning, praying, & encouraging our kiddos! 👩‍🏫📚✏️
