This local was organized in September of 2019 after a long battle with the Borough to be recognized by the PLRB as Municipal Employees.

Today the Eddystone Fire Company No. 1 took Delivery of their remounted Ambulance. This unit’s return to Eddystone Borough further increases operational capacity of EMS services in the Borough of Eddystone. This ambulances is expected to be inspected and on the street in the coming weeks.

Late this afternoon, Squad 12 staffed with three career personnel responded to the 100 block of North Fairview in Company 67’s local for a reported house fire.
Crews arrived to find fire showing from the Charlie side exterior with extension into the first floor. Squad 12 responded as the second-due engine and secured a water supply. Squad 12 Officer (Hawkins)provided a Charlie side report upon arrival.
Personnel from Squad 12 assisted with fire extinguishment and overhaul operations.
Strong coordinated work by all companies operating on scene.
