This morning at 02:46 we were dispatched to a report of a large grass fire with structures threatened in the area of Hodge Rd and Northline Rd. Upon arrival we found several acres on fire and it had jumped to both sides of Hodge Rd with no structures threatened. We received mutual aid from Lorena Fire Department and Moody Volunteer Fire Department and we're able to stop the spread of the fire in 42 minutes from time of dispatch.

We are very thankful this fire was contained as it was. It is dry out there. Please be careful in you outdoor activities and remember we are under a burn ban currently.

Yesterday at 15:58 we were dispatched to a report of a corn field on fire in the area of Gruetzner Rd and Davis Rd. Upon arrival we had approx 8-10 acres on fire with no structures threatened. Because of the fast response and training of everyone present, the fire was extinguished and contained to approx 15 acres.

This afternoon your Moody VFD responded to FM 107 and Dove Rd for reports of a head on motor vehicle collision. On units arrival, personnel found multiple injuries. 3 patients were transported to the hospital by ambulance, 1 patient was transported by life flight. Thank you to Bruceville-Eddy Vol. Fire MCSO, Moody PD, TxDPS, Bruceville-Eddy PD, AMR Temple EMS AMR Waco, PHI Air Medical Temple Coryell Health EMS and all citizens that stopped to help. We are very grateful for your assistance. All units have cleared at this time.

We had a fun evening at our Event last night. Thank you to everyone who came out and a special thank you to AirLift Texas!!! You definitely made our night more fun! We enjoyed hanging out with the crew members.
