What may seem like a joke or harmless trend can have very serious consequences.

Please understand that deleting a post does not necessarily make it disappear. Posts and online activity may be preserved, and law enforcement can use available digital information to investigate where activity originated.

If a post or message crosses the line into a threat or other unlawful behavior, students could face school disciplinary consequences as well as potential criminal charges.

Think before you post. What seems funny for a few seconds can have consequences that last much longer.
