REGISTRATION CLOSES TONIGHT! ⏰👻

TODAY is your LAST chance to register for the Ghost Town Trail Challenge on June 20th!

After midnight, registration disappears faster than a ghost at sunrise. Unfortunately, we cannot accept late entries due to event planning and logistics.

Here’s what we have:
🏃‍♀️🚶 50K (32 miles) Run/Walk
🏃‍♂️🚶 25K (16 miles) Run/Walk
🏃🚶 12K (7.5 miles) Run/Walk
🔥🏃 NEW! 50-Mile Run featuring the new loop on the Ghost Town Trail system

Whether you're chasing a PR, a personal challenge, or just an excuse to spend a beautiful day on the trail, there's a distance with your name on it.

Our trails are free for everyone to enjoy, and the Friends of the Trails Program helps support their maintenance, improvements, and expansion so they can continue serving our community for years to come.

Pre-registration is encouraged to help us plan for a safe and enjoyable event for all participants. 👻

🚨 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! 🚨

The Ghost Town Trail Challenge is back on Saturday, June 20th, and this year we're going BIGGER than ever with a brand-new 50-MILE option! 🏃‍♂️💨

With the full Ghost Town Trail loop now complete, participants will be tackling 50 miles, 50K, 25K, and 12K courses—and we need an amazing team of volunteers to help keep them fueled, cheered on, and headed in the right direction!

Ways to help:

🥤 WORK AT AN AID STATION
Vintondale
• Shift 1: 6:30 AM – 10:00 AM (3–4 volunteers needed)
• Shift 2: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM (3–4 volunteers needed)
• Shift 3: 1:00 PM – 3:45 PM (2 volunteers needed)
Nanty Glo
• Shift 2: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (1 volunteer needed)
• Shift 3: 2:00 PM – 5:25 PM (2 volunteers needed)
Beulah
• Shift 2: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM (2 volunteers needed)
• Shift 3: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM (2–3 volunteers needed)
• Shift 4: 5:00 PM – 7:05 PM (2 volunteers needed)
North Street (NEW for 50-miler only)
• 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM (2 volunteers needed)
Vic Miller (NEW for 50-miler only)
• Shift 1: 9:45 AM – 12:00 PM (2 volunteers needed)
• Shift 2: 12:00 PM – 2:30 PM (2 volunteers needed)

🏁 Help at the finish line
• 9:00 AM – 8:30 PM — drop in for any portion of the day that works for you!

Whether you can spare a few hours or take on a full shift, you'll play a huge role in helping our Challengers succeed.

✅ TRAIL UPDATE ✅

Repairs to the sinkholes near mile 24 on the Ghost Town Trail between Nanty Glo and Twin Rocks have been successfully completed, and the trail is now safe for use.

Please note that fencing in the repaired area will be reinstalled tomorrow. Enjoy the trail and stay safe!
