Chippewa Valley Talking is Teaching

Chippewa Valley Talking is Teaching 80% of brain development occurs by age 3. The more we talk, the more they learn!

Chippewa Valley Talking is Teaching utilizes "Talking is Teaching: Talk, Read, Sing" campaign. "Talking is Teaching: Talk, Read, Sing is a public awareness and action campaign that helps parents recognize their power to boost their children's early brain and vocabulary development through simple, everyday actions - like describing things while walking outside, or singing songs together during bath

time. Using books, parent videos, text messaging, social media, and information from expert partners. Talking is Teaching empowers parents and caregivers with fun and easy ways to improve their babies' learning. Talking is Teaching is a campaign of Too Small to Fail—an early childhood initiative of the Clinton Foundation. Chippewa Valley Talking is Teaching is monitored by Early Literacy Coalition of the Greater Chippewa Valley.

compliments to write on each heart like “You are sweet!” and “I love your outfit!” While out with your
little one, encourage them to give the compliment hearts out to people in the community to help share
love and kindness in your neighborhood. For more ideas on how to talk, read, and sing together about
kindness, click here:
