is hosting their June monthly event, and it looks like such a wonderful day of community, encouragement, and connection.

Join them on Thursday, June 13 for the Blessing of the Bikes, with an optional motorcycle ride and bicycle ride starting at 10:00 AM. Everyone will return at noon for pizza, speakers, swimming, pickleball, and time together.

Red House of Hope is a beautiful organization doing meaningful work, and this is a great opportunity to come be encouraged, connect with others, and enjoy a fun day in community.

Please RSVP and help spread the word!

The men storming Normandy weren't fighting for likes, political tribes, or online arguments. They believed there were things worth defending: freedom, self-government, family, country, and the idea that evil should not be allowed to conquer the innocent.

They understood that if N**i Germany was not stopped, the world their children inherited would be darker, crueler, and less free.

Today we honor their courage and pride in country to be willing to do what had to be done. For all of us and our future generations. Honor them by making their sacrifice worth it.

This Memorial Day, we honor those who gave everything in service to our country.

We also stand beside the veterans still fighting battles long after their service ends — physical, mental, and emotional. Every day, we work to ensure no veteran fights alone.

Today we remember the fallen, support the living, and continue the mission of service.

We want to thank everyone who came out yesterday to pick up the Memorial Day flags. Every year, we hand out fresh flags for the graves of Eau Claire County Veterans buried in our county cemeteries. It was a perfect spring day. It was also an opportunity for folks to meet our new team members, Heather Craker and David Lance.

WHAT IS CWT?
Compensated Work Therapy is a Veterans Health Administration (VHA) program offering vocational rehabilitation and employment support to Veterans with barriers to work due to physical or mental health conditions.

Services vary by site but generally include job development, supported employment, and work placements as part of recovery and workforce reintegration.

Talk with your VA Primary Care Provider and request a CWT consult.

Through the VA’s Compensated Work Therapy (CWT) program, one Veteran found his purpose and now serves from behind the camera.
