☀️🏖️ EMS Warriors Field Day 2026 is almost here! 🏖️☀️

Our 6th and 7th grade Warriors will be celebrating the end of the school year with an afternoon of fun, games, and friendly competition during Field Day on Thursday, June 11 from 12:30-2:30 PM!

Students are encouraged to keep up their hard work and make positive choices as participation is based on eligibility. Students may be disqualified from participating if they are:
• Failing any class
• Have received 2 or more discipline referrals

Let's finish the year strong, Warriors! We can't wait to celebrate with an afternoon of sunshine, teamwork, and fun. 🌴😎🏐☀️

Thank you to Mrs. Danielson for her dedication and leadership in helping our students grow as musicians. We are proud of all the hard work and talent showcased on stage tonight.

🌊🛢️ Hands-on science in action!🌊🛢️

Yesterday, students created their own ocean simulation using salt water, sand, flora, and fauna. Once their ecosystems were complete, they simulated an oil spill using vegetable oil to see firsthand how quickly pollution can impact marine environments.

Today, students used the supplies they purchased within their project budget to clean up the oil spill, learning about the challenges of environmental restoration and the real-world impact oil spills have on our ecosystems. 🌎🐠🧽

What an engaging way to combine science, problem-solving, teamwork, and environmental stewardship!

We have SO many of our committee members unable to attend tonight and some guests who are unable to as well. We are going to reschedule to Wednesday 5/20 from 5:30-6:30 so that our presenters and committee members are able to get a full picture of all that has been accomplished so far this year as well as our next steps forward!

We will be showcasing our wonderful teachers at EMS this week! Students are participating this week by choosing statements during passing like: The teacher who says “5 more minutes” but really means 15! Or The teacher who always has a stash of snacks for when you are starving to The teacher who’s best equipped to survive a zombie apocalypse! Students then present their statements to the teachers they feel best represent the statements! They had a lot of fun today, and we think the teachers did too! Stay tuned for more pictures this week!

💙✂️ Kindness in Action at the Ribbon Cutting ✂️💙

Our Kindness Gang showed up in a big way at the Arrow Lumber Stadium & B.W. Lyon Field ribbon cutting ceremony. From greeting guests to helping keep things running smoothly, these students truly represented the heart of our school community.

We are so proud of their leadership, positivity, and willingness to serve others. They made a great event even more special. 💙
