...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 3 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 6 AM
PDT THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Southwest winds 25 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph
expected. Winds in areas from Everett north will switch to
northwesterlies at 25 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph between
8PM and 11PM Wednesday.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest and west central Washington.

* WHEN...From 3 PM this afternoon to 6 AM PDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

Christmas Eve - High Winds Forecasted
Please be prepared for the possibility of wind damage related power outages tomorrow. High winds are currently forecasted between 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM tomorrow.

***DELAYED*** Equipment troubles, but Santa is on his way. He should be there at 6:15 PM - Ho ho ho! Santa & the Ohop Mutual Christmas truck will be at the Alder Community Club (50208 Mountain Hwy E) tonight, December 22nd at 5:30 PM if you'd like a picture with Santa. Merry Christmas!

Power Outage - 444th & Scott Turner - Ohop crews need to take an outage for customers on 444th off Scott Turner Rd to make repairs. The outage will last around 1 hour and will commence immediately. Thank you.

Emergency Power Outage - In order to make repairs, Ohop crews will need to take an outage for all customers on 320th East and side roads that last approximately 1-2 hours. The outage is estimated to begin at around 6:30 PM, but could be earlier or later. Please plan accordingly. Thank you.

Power Outage Update - Crews are continuing to work to restore power. We are now down to less than 100 customers out of power and are continuing to restore smaller outages. Please plan for the possibility of existing outages continuing into the late evening hours and possibly tomorrow morning for some. Thank you again for your patience.

Power Outage Update - Crews are continuing to restore power to areas in order of number of customers out and are making good progress from around 2,600 customers out to under 800.
Please note, crews may need to take additional emergency outages in order to make repairs, but those outages should be relatively brief.
We will continue to work to restore power until all customers are back on. Thank you for your patience.

Power Outage - Very high winds and tree related damage caused numerous large outages early this morning. All hands are on deck and crews are having success getting feeders back up. However, there is still a lot of work to be done. Please plan for extended outages throughout the day. Thank you.
