Thank you for being a fan of the Preble County WIC Program on Facebook. The Preble County WIC Program participates in Facebook in order to provide individuals, families, and partners with nutrition and breastfeeding news and best practices. While we encourage fans to share thoughts and opinions on our page, we expect that this will be done in a respectful manner. All links posted as comments on Preble County WIC Program page will be reviewed and may be deleted. A comment will be deleted if it contains:
-hate speech, profanity, obscenity, or vulgarity;
-nudity (breastfeeding dyads excepted) in pictures;
-defamation, name calling, and/or personal attacks to a person or people, or Preble County WIC Program employee;
-spam comments, such as the same/similar comments posted repeatedly on a profile;
-comments that would disclose protected health information;
-comments that include promotion of events, groups, pages, websites, organizations and programs not related to the promotion of healthy living, good nutrition, including breastfeeding or improved parenting; and
-other comments that Preble County WIC Program director deems inappropriate. Violations of Preble County WIC Program's comment policy may cause the author to be blocked from all Preble County grantee pages. Information posted on any of our social media platforms should not be considered medical advice and should not replace consultation with a healthcare professional including an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant for breastfeeding issues or a Registered, Licensed Dietitian for nutrition questions. As of Thursday, Oct. 23, 2025 the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) has secured additional funding to sustain the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) into November.
WIC families can continue to use WIC benefits, attend WIC appointments, and get referrals to other agencies. Please call us at 937-456-5457 if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing you!
