The Port of Eastport is joining its regional partners in our collective Cruise Canada New England regional alliance in Saguenay Quebec for the annual regional symposium.

Just know that the community of Eastport has helped showcase our island community and its regional importance is recognized by so many of the ports you see on the map from NYC to Montreal and all places in between.

Tonight, in honor of Eastport’s own Robert “Bobby” Davis and his memorial service today attended by so many, we turned the Port Office orange for Bob’s belonged Shead Tigers!

So starts the 2026 Cruise Season in Eastport America with this mornings arrival of Pearl Seas Cruises Pearl Mist!

A regular in Eastport since her maiden voyage in 2014, always great to have old friends back. The weather is yet again a star of the day with another picture perfect Eastport kind of day!

But the real stars as always is the Eastport Community who all showed up a little early for the morning visit.

As always the authentic welcoming from a true Downeast community is the real reason Eastport shines and why Eastport remains known as “The Most Welcoming Port City in the World”

Ladies and Gentlemen, tomorrow opens the 2026 season on the Eastport waterfront as we welcome back a perrenial friend in the Pearl Seas Cruises Pearl Mist.

A short stop from 7am to noon, after a long winter it will be nice to welcome back and old friend!

The facility will have it usual parking restrictions prior and during the stay, but new for this year, any commercial operations needing pier access during the stay need only contact the Port Authority and we will make it happen. We are pleased to report that we have been successful in getting the changes needed to our security plan to put this in place. The Port, the USCG and the lines all agree that the waterfront works best when it works for everyone!

***Attention Harbor Users***

As mother nature lets go of winter and lets us start to peak at spring, dare we say "summer", please be reminded that gear, especially winter gear, needs to be removed from the Breakwater.

With that in mind we would ask that we spread the word and advise the owners of what you see here that this needs to be removed before Wednesday to avoid it being removed third party.

Here's to warmer weather and the start of another summer season in Eastport America!

The Eastport Port Authority joins the entire Downeast fishing community in passing on condolences to the family of Patrick Robinson. AC inc is a valued member of the Eastport waterfront and Patrick’s leadership of that organization will undoubtedly be missed.

****REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL****

The Eastport Port Authority is seeking proposals for construction labor required to refurbish/repair its existing float inventory commonly utilized seasonally at the north side of the Breakwater facility.

This project is done in conjunction with a 2026 Small Harbor Improvement Program (SHIP) grant award with the Maine Department of Transportation and will be managed and governed under the guidelines of said program.

The floats are currently not in seasonal service and are available for inspection in Eastport at any time at the contractor’s expense.

Proposal Packages with specificaltions and further details can be provided by contacting the Port Authority Office 141 Water Street Eastport Maine or at 207-853-4614

Proposals are due back in the office on or before close of business March 23rd 2026.
