Our Pleasantview 3rd grade team brought a "Beach Day" to their students! As the 3rd graders were working on a reading comprehension lesson, their teachers learned that some students had never been to the beach before -- so they brought the beach to Pleasantview. It looked like the students had a ball!

Our community facilities survey remains open through tonight. We want to hear from you as we plan for the future of our schools. Share your thoughts on priorities such as:

☘️ Closing Eastpointe Middle School and creating a unified 6 through 12 campus at Eastpointe High School.
☘️ Updating the nearly 100‑year‑old high school to allow for this consolidation.
☘️ Moving the administrative offices into the high school.
☘️ Expanding Pre‑K options and improving the Early Learning Center.

Bellview’s STEM and Literacy Night was a huge success! 🧪 Families came together to enjoy pizza, explore the book fair, play games, and take part in lots of fun activities, including building with Magna-Tiles, creating the phases of the moon with Oreos, and observing a model of a volcano. Thank you to everyone who made this event happen, we always love to see families enjoying themselves at school!

🦋 Springtime always means butterflies at the Early Learning Center! The preschoolers in several classes recently got to release their butterflies into the wild after watching them grow from caterpillars in their classroom. Most of the butterflies flew away quickly, but a few of them took their time and let the students get a very close look. The students were so excited to see the butterflies fly off to make their homes in the trees and the flowers near the school! 🦋

We've wrapped up our first season of Little Shamrocks soccer! ⚽️ Even though the spring weather was wet and unpredictable, we had a great turnout every weekend from students, families, and staff -- almost 100 students were signed up to play on their school's team.

Thank you to the coaches, referees, families, staff and fans who made this a great experience for our kids. We're looking forward to this program growing even more next year!
