As the new school year approaches, Franklin County Schools is reminding all families of incoming Kindergarten and 7th-grade students to avoid any delays in enrollment, it is mandatory that all Kindergarten and 7th graders provide proof of updated immunizations or a valid exemption BEFORE the first day of school. Students who have not met these state-mandated health requirements will be unable to begin classes. Parents and guardians are urged to call the Franklin County Health Department at 850-653-2111 or their child's P*P today to schedule an appointment. Taking action now will ensure your child is ready, protected, and cleared to start the school year on time.

Florida requires all students entering Kindergarten to be up-to-date on routine childhood vaccinations. Incoming 7th grade students must additionally have a Tdap booster. You must provide proof to your school before classes start in August 2026

Who We Play For, will be on campus next Wednesday and Thursday for student EKG's. This is open to any student (FCS or elsewhere) 10 years and older. Beginning July 1st ALL FCS athletes will be required to have an EL1 (EKG form) on file to participate in any sport.

💦☀️ Our students had an absolute BLAST celebrating the end of the school year with our Water Slide Party and “Pie for a 5” celebration! 🥧🦅

Students who scored a Level 5 on their FAST test earned the opportunity to choose who they wanted to pie — and let’s just say there were lots of laughs and whipped cream flying everywhere! 😂

We are so proud of all of our students for their hard work and accomplishments this school year. What a fun way to celebrate success and kick off summer break! ❤️💙
