Honor the fallen. Remember the call.

Some names are added to a stone long before the people who loved them were ready.

The Airmen’s Memorial at McEntire Joint National Guard Base preserves proof that these individuals were here. That they served. That they sacrificed time, energy, health, moments with family, and in some cases, far more than most people will ever see.

We will not let their legacy become a mere memory.

So remember the call. Carry forward the values they lived by, rather than waiting until loss teaches you their importance.

Because memorials are more than a moment of silence. They are a reminder of your responsibility.

FROM AN AIRMAN INSIDE: [AMMO]
"We build trust shoulder to shoulder. We look out for each other without needing recognition. We check on each other. We make time to sit down, cook out, laugh, and carry the weight together.

That’s why ammo is prideful. Not because we think we’re special. Because we know what it takes.

Every round. Every asset. Every detail matters because when the time comes, there is no room for error.

If you come here willing to learn, somebody will teach you. If you show up with an open mind, people will make room for you.

And after enough time, this place stops feeling like a place you work."
