This month, we will have local comrade Armando Moritz-Chapelliquen join us to teach us about power-mapping, a key technique in campaign building that helps us identifying key decision-makers, understand the relationships between different stakeholders, and articulate strategic, effective plans for change.

He will be building off of his new book, A Neighbor's Primer to Organizing, Advocacy, and the Urgency of Community. (We will have copies of the book both in our LVDSA library and for sale).

LVDSA's mutual aid working group, Collective Cupboard, is holding a Warming Drive!

We need donations of: socks, instant coffee, cocoa, hand warmers, vaseline/chapstick, and gallon size zip top bags.

All donations will go to help those in need in our community. 🌹

Donations can dropped off between 6pm and 9pm on the third Monday of every month at the Cathedral Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem. So, the next opportunity is Sept. 21!

LVDSA's August 17 general meeting had record breaking attendance with 95 people attending in-person and 20 people online!
