This week was filled with fun, learning, and excitement as we say goodbye to another great school year and get ready for summer camp!
π ππ¨π«ππ¨π―π ππ’ππ ππ’π π‘π₯π’π π‘ππ¬
School is officially out, and summer camp begins Monday! This week, students learned all about sun safety through hands-on activities, including making sun visors, conducting sunscreen experiments, and playing anti-smoking bingo and trivia.
A special thank you to Leslie Aldeman from Jumpstart with the Arts for arranging a visit from guest musician Munit Mesfin. The children loved exploring music and enjoying a unique interactive experience.

It was a week of celebration and discovery at White Marsh! School age friends wrapped up the school year with an end-of-year celebration that included yoga with Ms. Karen, an ice cream social, and lots of time reflecting on a fantastic year together π¦π.
The preschoolers had an exciting Career Day at WMES, where they met community helpers and learned about their important jobs. Highlights included meeting a K-9 police dog, spraying a real fire hose, climbing inside a fire truck, and learning about music from a visiting musician ππ.

The final week before summer was packed with adventure! Room 1 headed off to their Mini Olympics, where everyone had a blast participating in the games π
. They also celebrated Binocular Day, exploring the world around them and proudly declaring, "We see you!" π
Room 2 enjoyed Build a Boat Day while Room 4 embraced Camping Week by creating handprint campfires, making dirt pudding and sβmores, and voting on whether they'd rather sleep in a tent or a cabin π₯π«.
As the school year comes to a close, Room 1 also wished all dads, pop-pops, stepdads, and father figures a very Happy Father's Day! ππ
