Abuse is never justified. Things to remember.
Abuse does not always leave visible marks
It often escalates over time
It is never the survivor’s fault

While we cannot show their faces, we can reveal their truth.
Sole Strength is about the journey of a survivor walking in the soles of these shoes through moments of fear, resilience, and ultimately transformation. Their souls, an inner strength, drove them forward, step by step, toward safety and self-sufficiency.
Through art, we give form to that journey.
On Wednesday, October 21st at the Market at Dover Station, Sole Strength offers the public a rare opportunity to “walk alongside” survivors not through statistics or headlines, but through deeply human stories expressed in texture, shape, color, and space. Each piece captures the emotional weight of the experience: the breaking point, the turning point, and the strength it takes to begin again.
