We now offer "Book Club in a Bag." Each bag contains 8 physical books, discussion questions, and access to the ebook and audiobook on our CloudLibrary app. We have 25 bags to choose from. Scroll through the titles below, then drop by the library to check out the bag your Book Club is interested in reading. These bags were funded by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services through a grant to the Texas State Library and Archives Commission (Grant # LS-259205-OLS-25). (2025). Some members of Scout Troop 103 toured the library today. We showed them how we organized the books on our shelves. They learned how to look up books in the online card catalong and then find the books on the shelves. After that they each got to check out books to a patron (ok, I was the patron) and then they learned how to check books in and return the books to the appropriate shelf.

We really enjoyed helping members of Scout Troop 103 work on earning their Reading merit badge.

There is one more hour left to play mini golf at the library. We are here until 5:00 p.m. (Wednesday July 15th) There are 19 holes. The 19th hole play earns a stuffie.
