Join us at during Art Walk on Saturday, June 6th, from 4-7PM for the opening reception of "Waters Rising" by Marilyn Allen (front gallery) and "Batchelor & Salthouse in Conversation" by Linda Batchelor & Bobbie Salthouse (back gallery).

"As a painter and outdoor person, I have explored the past and present in the environment and the human impact on the planet. The paintings in the front gallery are the result of years of observation, focusing on the natural world--our only home. Geology has a long history and it has informed many of the subjects which I have painted in this show, from the last ice age to the current melting of glaciers."

“Linda Batchelor and Bobbie Salthouse are printmakers who share a passion for creating exciting, colorful abstract prints through an experimental, playful, and intuitive approach. We're thrilled to welcome Falcon Laina to ECA Gallery next month - and we invite you all to come out to Art Walk Easthampton on Saturday, June 6th, from 4-7PM for the opening reception of "Wingspan"!

"The central sculpture in this project is a hollow ceramic marionette suspended from a steel frame. This body is vulnerable in its capacity to be a container as well as its reliance on an external support structure. Surrounding this piece, the archive of dreams consists of silver gelatin prints, drawings, and found objects which document the story of one person’s complex inner world."

Legoland - a dark comedy and Why's It Gotta Be? Theater Group's first full production opens TODAY and will be running through May 31st at !

"Penny and Ezra Lamb have been home-schooled on a hippie colony their whole lives - and they’re dying to get out. After a failed attempt at connection in a Walmart, the commune is busted, and the siblings - each seething with repression - are enrolled in a Catholic private school where they are instant social outcasts. Penny is quickly ostracized as a "lesbo,” meanwhile Ezra is fixated on German nihilism and reselling his Ritalin and Dexedrine prescriptions. After heartthrob Johnny Moon rebrands himself as a misogynistic rapper, the siblings run away from school on a bus tour across the continent - financed by selling their prescriptions - to bring back the "real" pop star. Irreverently dark and bursting with originality, Legoland’s Lamb siblings are prying for connection any way they can get it."
