According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, almost all major studies on defensive gun use have found that Americans use their fi****ms defensively between 500,000 and 3 million times each year. Researchers have good reason to believe, however, that most defensive gun uses aren’t reported to law enforcement, much less picked up by local or national media outlets.

The Heritage Foundation introduces the Defensive Gun Use Database to highlight accounts of Americans who used fi****ms to defend themselves or others.

if you read Flores’s essay, you’ll notice that she’s diagnosing the same phenomenon about the national media and Democratic party that many of us on the Right have been complaining about for a long time: The degree to which allegations of inappropriate behavior or sexual misconduct are taken seriously — particularly whether they rise to the level of columns declaring “It’s time for a national conversation” — is heavily shaped by how important the accused is to the cause of progressivism at that given moment. In 1998, almost the entire Democratic party rushed to save Bill Clinton; now it’s okay to declare his behavior appalling and worthy of a forced resignation. We could only see Chappaquiddick portrayed on the silver screen after Ted Kennedy’s death.

MASSACHUSETTS WARNING !!! Read your ballots carefully....Question 1 may be easily missed!

Apparently on some town/city ballots, Question 1 is in very small print on the front of the ballot in the right hand corner.... Easy to miss & turn over where question 2,3,& 4 are clearly visible. People may vote Yes on 2 thinking it was Question 1... Then No on 3 thinking it is 2 etc. Please warn people to careful about finding Question 1 on the Ballot.

We are Republicans! We should read & think before voting. Or else we could just be Democrats. ;-)
