A few more details and photos of the conference I attended on Saturday. These events are an opportunity to advocate for and engage in discussions about issues that impact our City. I consider this participation key to the work of an elected official, particularly in Northern Berkshire.

Yesterday, I spent a Saturday morning with colleagues from the four western counties (including Mayor's, Councilors, Managers, Planning Board members, Fin/Com, and Select Board Members) at the Western Massachusetts Municipal Conference. Workshops include Police Reform, ARPA, Housing, and Public Infrastructure. I can only attend 2 workshops. Too bad there weren't some other folks from North Adams attending. Great panelists and colleagues talking about issues that are so important to Western Massachusetts, Berkshire County, and specifically North Adams.

We’re hiring: BUILDERS

At Greylock WORKS, we’re building new purpose across a 240,000 SF former cotton-spinning mill campus on a beautifully revitalized 9-acre (former) brownfield site between North Adams and Williamstown.

Extensive construction experience is not a requirement. Reliability, desire to learn, collaborate, focus attention to diverse tasks, and respect for craft are touchstones of this position. Work will include selective demolition, carpentry, concrete, custom fabrication, property management and maintenance.

Our design-build practice celebrates clean details, raw natural materials, and repurposed building elements to create spaces that are both timeless and inspiring.
