Station 42 was dispatched at 10:06am to the intersection of Rt. 571 & Old Trenton Rd. for a vehicle fire. Engine 42 arrived to a fully involved car fire and extinguished the fire with a handline.

TOWER 42 DRILL
Station 42 Firefighters drilled on Tower 42 operations with the full set up of the 100’ tower along with pumping and master stream ops with the 2000 gpm pump. Staying sharp!

The Hightstown Memorial Day Parade is scheduled for tomorrow beginning at 9:00am 🇺🇸

We are monitoring the weather, however a little rain will not stop us from honoring the bravest of us all.

We look forward to honoring them on Memorial Day, together, as a community.

Tackling some spring cleaning or painting this weekend?

Oil-soaked rags can start a fire if not handled safely. As oil-based paints and stains dry, they give off heat. If rags are piled up or put in a closed container, that heat can build up and start a fire.

Stay safe:
• Lay rags flat to dry outside, away from anything that can burn
• Or place them in a metal container with a tight-fitting lid
