Our littlest learners start school tomorrow! Thursday, September 3rd is the first day for preschool students.

Although the Broad Brook Elementary School preschool program is full, the Family Resource Center program located at BBES still has half day openings. The program is open to families both in town and in surrounding communities.

Preschool Meet & Greet!

Are your little ones ready to take their first big steps into learning? Join us for our BBES Preschool Meet & Greet on Wednesday, September 2nd! This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to explore their new classroom, get comfortable with the space, and meet our fantastic teachers before the first day of school on Thursday, September 3rd.

Still need to enroll your child in preschool? The BBES preschool program is full but the FRC Preschool Program at BBES is still enrolling! If you are looking for a nurturing, engaging, and high-quality early childhood environment, we would love to welcome your family to our community. The FRC program is open to children from East Windsor, Broad Brook, and surrounding towns and communities.

Happy First Day of School, East Windsor! We hope all of our students, teachers, and staff have an incredible day settling into their classrooms.

We also have an extra special welcome to extend today! Join us in welcoming Officer Ryan Beturne from the East Windsor, CT Police Department, who is stepping into the role of our new School Resource Officer (SRO).

Officer Beturne is excited to be serving our school community, building positive relationships with our students, and keeping our schools safe every day. If you see him out and about be sure to wave or say hello!

Tomorrow is the big day! We can't wait to welcome our kindergarten through grade 12 students back for the start of the 2026-2027 school year!

Our faculty and staff returned earlier this week and officially kicked off the year with our annual convocation. Over the past three days, our team has been hard at work in professional development sessions, prepping classrooms, and getting everything ready for a fun, exciting, and inspiring year of learning.

Biscuit is getting ready for the first day of school! BBES is holding TWO back to school events tomorrow:

A PreK and Kindergarten Practice Bus Run from 3 to 4 PM
A Kindergarten Parent Information Night from 4 to 5 PM

Both events are being held at:

Broad Brook, CT

As a reminder, the first day of school for Kindergarten through 12th Grade is this Thursday, August 27th! We can't wait to welcome back all of our students!
