Western Maine Community Action Inc The organization is dedicated to the principle that poverty should not be a permanent condition of people’s lives.

Established in 1965, Western Maine Community Action (WMCA) is a social service agency that has been providing assistance to low- and mid-income families living in the western mountain region of Maine. WMCA is able to respond quickly and effectively to the variety of needs of our disadvantaged population. We strive to marshal as many resources as possible in our efforts to provide comprehensive ser

vices responsive to conditions. The majority of our services are designed to assist low to moderate-income people in Franklin, Androscoggin and Oxford counties. Federal Non-Discrimination Statement

The Maine Office of Child and Family Services (OCFS) is coming to East Wilton and wants to hear directly from community members about how early care and education (child care) impacts your family, your employment, and our community.

In the next chapter of CoverME.gov events, we’re heading to the Maine Library Association Conference on May 18 and 19 at Thomas College in Waterville! 📚

The CoverME.gov team will be onsite throughout the conference to help attendees check out their health coverage options, answer questions, and share resources from Maine’s official health insurance marketplace.
