✨ Meet Krystie Luna! ✨

Ms. Luna is a newer addition to our school and serves as our District Data Manager!

She loves the daily challenges of data cleanup and maintenance- much of the work feels like solving a puzzle! Every completed report or project finished helps the district and, ultimately, our students, making her work very meaningful.

📚 Advice for students:
“Don't be afraid to try new things. You never know what you will excel at! You may surprise yourself.”

Fun facts:

🎧🎶 She is a DJ and enjoys making music in addition to mixing it!

🧶💜 She also loves to crochet- her mom taught her when she was only 9! She crochets amigurumi, bags, blankets, and wearable pieces!

🎓 Congratulations to the TECCA High School Class of 2026! 🎓

We are so proud to celebrate all of our graduates and the hard work, perseverance, and achievements that have brought them to this milestone.

We're also excited to spotlight some of the students helping make this year's ceremony especially memorable. Nicole has been selected as one of our student speakers for graduation. We asked Nicole a few questions about her high school journey, favorite memories, and plans for the future. Here's what she shared!

1. What does graduation mean to you?
Graduation means closing one chapter of my life while opening a new chapter of my life, that has all my accomplishments along the way.

2. What advice would you give younger students?
Don't be afraid to ask for help from any of the teachers, and don't be afraid to be yourself.

3. What is one TECCA memory you’ll never forget?
One TECCA memory I’ll never forget is the support and encouragement I received from my teachers and classmates throughout high school.

4. What song, quote, or motto got you through high school?
The song I use for encouragement is The Climb by Miley Cyrus

5. What are your plans after graduation?
After graduation, I plan to continue coaching cheerleading, growing my skills, and working toward my future career goals.

6. How did it feel to be chosen as a speaker?
Being chosen as a speaker felt like an honor, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to represent my classmates.

7. What will you miss most about TECCA?
I’ll miss the flexibility, supportive teachers, and the connections I made along the way.

✨ Meet James Barron! ✨

Mr. Barron has been teaching art at TECCA for over 5 years now! One of his favorite lessons is the Abstract Expressionism lesson because it gives students more freedom to explore their creativity.

He loves to be able to connect to students through art and watch as they discover new ways to use their creativity in school and in life. Growing up with two deaf parents also gave him a unique perspective on communication and self-expression.

📚 Advice for students:
“Everyone can be creative; it is just finding the medium through which you can express yourselves.”

Fun fact:
🌍 If he could travel anywhere, it would be to Japan!

What an exciting milestone for the 370+ graduates of the TECCA Class of 2026! 🎓 We can’t wait to see where your hard work and determination take you next. 💻📚

Over half of our graduates plan to attend a two- or four-year college. Some notable college acceptances include Smith College, Boston Conservatory, Syracuse University, Wentworth Institute of Technology, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and Boston University.

✨ Meet Tim Courtois! ✨

This is Mr. Courtois’s 8th year teaching history at our school!

He has always been passionate about history and finds it incredibly rewarding to be able to teach what he loves to an amazing group of students. In addition to teaching, Mr. Courtois also advises two clubs: The Connections Chronicle and Film Club.

📚 Advice for students:
Get involved in as many clubs as you can manage. Step out of your comfort zone. Meet other students who have the same passions as you. As a club advisor, I have seen close friendships form between students over the years.

🌍 He has traveled to 11 different countries!
