Want to get to know others from around the lake? BLIMP would love you to join us for our first Nips, Nosh and Knowledge event. Bring your favorite beverage and snack/app and we will have a table set for you at the Shady Nook Rec Center.

This will be a fun event for a chance to meet others from around the lake and listen to our friends from Loon Preservation talk to us about our loons.

Saturday June 13th…Sign in and settle in from 2:30-3:00 with the presentation to begin at 3:00.

Lakeside still has a few summer openings on Balch Lake!
3BR camp in Shady Nook with direct beach/lake access, kayaks, large screened porch, spacious deck, A/C, WiFi, and two living spaces. Sleeps up to 7; pet-friendly with approval. Also includes access to the SNIA pickleball & tennis courts.

Remaining prime summer availability:
• July 12–16
• August 22 – September 3 (flexible / can be split)

We also have availability before June 26th or after September 7th for a reduced nightly rate, reach out if you are interested or have any questions.

A word about the fishing tournament. The only way you can enter the tournament is to purchase a shirt by May 24. Once the registration closes, it closes. On the morning of the tournament, 6/20, put your shirt on and come up to the marina sometime between 8 and 10 in the morning to check in. If you do not buy a shirt before registration closes on the 24th you can not register. There is no late registration. You must also check in that morning 6/20.

The 2027 Calendar is at the printers! Due to MANY left over calendars last year, I am only printing 100. When they're gone they're gone. This is a fundraiser for BLIMP. It makes zero sense to have 40-50 leftover unsold taking away the donation to BLIMP. 100 should sell out enabling us to turn over a descent donation to BLIMP. The first calendars will be available at the fishing tournament!

The calendar is shaping up nicely! I need more spring and fall photos... Selection has to do with clarity of photo most of all, then I try not to repeat similar photos and lastly if I'm using another one of your photos in another month I try to give everyone a fair chance. SO... I have some great photos but trying not to duplicate. Please post up some spring/fall shots? Thanks!
