🆕Wilmer's Landing Boat Launch Kiosk is Up and Running! Please see the attached images for more information. We highly reccomend using a small rock or paperweight on your dash to be sure that the receipt doesn't blow away or out of sight of Officers or CSOs.

"FBI-LEEDA Insighter Magazine's" Spring-2026 Issue features our little Town of East Troy by recognizing the Agency Trilogy Award Recipients on Page 48. Wisconsin has two municipalities recognized by FBI-LEEDA in this issue.

The FBI-LEEDA Agency Trilogy Award is awarded to agencies whose command staff have successfully completed the FBI-LEEDA Trilogy Leadership Programs including Supervisor Leadership Institute, Command Leadership Institute and Executive Leadership Institute. This award reflects the department's commitment to leadership education, but also the support from senior law enforcement officials, the Town of East Troy Board and the community at large.

Join us during Police Week in recognizing our police department, the excellent support they provide our Town and for their commitment to excellence and continuing education!

Today is the start of National Police Week. It's a time for us to remember, reflect and salute the Men and Women of Law Enforcement. I wanted to take this opportunity to reflect myself. I was reminded by my wife it was 10yrs ago that I participated in the Police Unity Tour which that year was a bike ride from Philly to DC about 300 miles on a pedal bike. Such a small sacrifice compared to those who gave everything. The ride helps the Police Memorial and Museum. I'm grateful to have had the experience. I want to extend a sincere Thank You to all the Men and Women of Law Enforcement, especially those that work in Walworth County. God Bless you and stay safe.

Great Reminder! Thank you Wisconsin State Patrol

- when merging onto another road, like an interstate or highway, drivers should yield to traffic already moving on the roadway.

When using an entrance ramp, aim to enter the highway at the same speed that traffic is moving. High-speed roadways generally have an acceleration lane to give drivers time to build up speed before merging into traffic.

If you are waiting for space to enter a roadway, slow down on the ramp so you have some room to speed up before merging.
