A possible quorum of the Village Board may be present at a meeting scheduled for Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. regarding the Booth Lake algae bloom and implications for Booth Lake Memorial Park. No Village business will be conducted.

The meeting will be held at the Village Municipal Building, 2015 Energy Drive in the Railside Meeting Room.

Yard Waste Collection - Monday, September 14
All materials must be curbside by 6 AM. Brush and branches must be bundled, less than 4’ in length, less than 6” in diameter, less than 50 pounds. No full trees. Clippings, leaves and garden debris must be in PAPER BIODEGRADABLE bags or in 32 gallon garbage cans (NOT the garbage or recycling toters). All yard waste must be free of glass, plastic, metal, stones & other non-degradable materials. Weeds are included but invasive species including garlic mustard should not be mixed with yard waste. Invasive species may be bagged and placed in the brown cart for the garbage collection. ** PLASTIC BAGS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED**

Just a couple quick reminders as we head into the weekend!

• Village Hall will be closed on Monday, September 7 in observance of Labor Day.
• Garbage pick‑up will be delayed by one day due to the holiday — collection will take place on Wednesday next week.

The Village of East Troy is looking for a full‑time Utility Clerk to help with water/sewer billing, utility records, customer service, and general office support. This position also assists with website and social media updates.

Pay: $22.57–$25.16/hr DOQ + full benefits
